Claim to the Throne

Distant cousin of Queen Anne.  George’s mother, Sophia Stuart, was granddaughter of King James I of England.

Died

22nd June 1727 – Germany.  Cause of death – stroke.

Buried – Chapel of the Leine-Schloss, Hanover, Germany – the last British monarch to be buried outside the UK.
