28th June 1461. First reign 4th March 1461 – 3rd October 1470, and second reign 11th April 1471 – 9th April 1483.
Claim to the Throne
Eldest surviving son of Richard, Duke of York, who died at the Battle of Wakefield 1470, this was when Edward inherited his claim to the throne.
Died
9th April 1483 Westminster, England. Cause of death is unknown, died suddenly, poison was suspected but could have been pneumonia or tuberculosis.
Buried – St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
